London Road is a semi detached fully refurbished property that offers a supported living service to 4 Service Users with Learning Disabilities.
The property is situated in Alvaston, a busy and vibrant community and is close to Derby providing excellent road and rail links.
London Road has one ground floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom and three 1st floor bedrooms each with there own sink. The home includes a new fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.
The focus of this supported living service is to promote independence and enable Service Users to have greater levels of choice, fulfilment and independent living.
Each Service User has their own assured tenancy agreement and live together in the home, sharing communal facilities such as the living room and kitchen.Service Users may personalise and decorate their own room to their own taste, including buying or bringing in furniture and electrical equipment.
Staff are avalible 7 days a week during waking hour but do not sleep during the night as the emphasis is on supported living and developing independence. Our support packages are tailored to each individual and cover a range of services across a number of areas including home finance management, community living, shopping and preparation of meals.
Individuals at our supported living homes are entitled to a higher level of disposable income and increased support benefits to support their move from residential care to supported living and increase their independence.
