This is a traditional and very homely detached property in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Bedford. Local shops, pubs and a large park are nearby and all the shopping and leisure facilities of the town centre are just a 10-minute walk away.
There are six large bedrooms, four of which have full en-suite bathrooms. One of these, located on the ground floor, has a wet room for wheelchair access. The other two bedrooms have an en-suite WC and sink. There is a communal bathroom on the first floor that has a bath, shower and WC, and an additional toilet on the ground floor.
Other communal areas include a very spacious and comfortable lounge, a large kitchen, a separate dining room and a utility room. There is a large garden to the rear with a conservatory and a patio area.
Bedrooms exceed the National Minimum Standards and are as follows:

All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. In addition to a fitted carpet and curtains, each has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, two chairs, desk, lockable space, shelving, a bed, bedding and towels. Service Users may personalise and decorate their own room to their own taste, including buying and bringing in furniture and electrical equipment, providing it meets with fire regulations and/or PAT testing. Bedrooms are for single occupancy only.
Bedrooms are fitted with a lock to which the Service User holds a key. Any person, including staff, wishing to enter a bedroom will obtain permission to enter the room from the Service User first (except in the case of emergency or concern for the wellbeing of the Service User). Each bedroom has sufficient electrical sockets and a TV aerial socket. They do not have a phone point, but there is a cordless phone which is available for use in private as required.
The house vehicle is a 7-seater people-carrier. It is available 7 days a week (subject to staff drivers) for direct access to all parts of the town and beyond. There is also a bus-stop nearby for independent travel.
