A traditional detached bungalow situated on a quiet road.

The House consists of 5 en-suite bedrooms. Communal space comprises of a large lounge and dining room connected by a larger than average hallway. In addition there is a large domestic kitchen and utility room, a large communal bathroom and separate shower. In addition there is a separate WC.

Acacia House has an attractive and secured rear garden and a block paved parking area at the front.

The Bedrooms comply with the National Minimum Standards for homes registered prior to August 2002 and are as follows:

Room 1: 22.79m² (Ground Floor)
Room 2: 12.13m² (Ground Floor)
Room 3: 12.09m² (Ground Floor)
Room 4: 12.8m² (Ground Floor)
Room 5: 12.25m² (Ground Floor)

Being a bungalow all rooms are on the ground floor. All bedrooms have an en-suite with mirror and shaving socket. Bedrooms two and Three have their own showers. Each bedroom has windows that can be opened by the Service User if they wish, though all windows have restrictors fitted for the protection of the Service User. All bedroom doors are fitted with a lock, for which the Service User holds the key. These can be locked from the inside and outside. (Shift leaders hold a master key in case of emergencies). Each room has a minimum of three sockets and a television aerial socket.

The bedrooms do not have a telephone socket fitted; instead a cordless phone is available for all Service Users to use in private should they wish.

Each Service User is provided with a wardrobe, chest of draws, two chairs, desk, lockable space, shelving, bed, bedding, towelling, carpet and curtains. However the Service Users may elect to reject or add to these items should they wish. There may also be a reduction/increase in this provision if a specific risk/need is identified within their Service User care plan and/or associated risk assessments. All bedrooms are for single use only.

Service Users may personalise and decorate their own room to their own taste, including buying or bringing in furniture and electrical equipment, providing it meets with Fire regulations and/or PAT testing. Any persons, including staff, wishing to enter any bedrooms will obtain permission to enter the room from the Service User first. (Unless in the case of emergency or concern for the well being of the Service User).

Communal Space comprises of a large lounge, 25.2 sq Meters a dinning room 9.12 sq Meters, connected by a larger than average hallway. In addition there is a large domestic kitchen which all Service Users use to prepare meals, snacks and drinks or to work with staff to assist at meal times etc. There is a good-sized utility room with a sink and a large communal bathroom with WC, Sink, Bath and Separate shower. In addition there is a separate WC.
