Statement of Purpose

Community Care Solutions Ltd was established by Mark Constant on 11th December 2000, to provide residential care services to adults with Learning Disabilities and other complex needs such as Challenging Behaviours or Physical Disabilities. Mark Constant established the company after eight years as a Consultant providing advice and support to a number of residential and social care providers. He believed that things could be done differently, giving individuals a real opportunity to develop their independence and life skills to enable them to enjoy many more of the freedoms and experiences that some of us take for granted.

Initially establishing a home in Rushden for 8 Adults with Learning Disabilities. In July 2001, Community Care Solutions purchased two more existing homes in Bedford and Biggleswade and a further two in Derby in September 2002.

With the advent of the new National Minimum Care Standards, Community Care Solutions were able to utilise the nationally recognised minimum standard as a base line from which to build and develop its own higher standards of provision and service. With this in mind Community Care Solutions have entirely redeveloped a 5 bed roomed home in Peterborough, which now meets all and exceeds many of the new standards in relation to environment and resources. We are seeking to build upon this success to provide some of the very best and highest quality Individual homes for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

Community Care Solutions Head office is based in Bedford and is a self contained modern office unit within a prominent business centre in the town. The Head Office reflects the recent changes in social care provision towards needs lead, forward thinking, modern high quality services, mirroring the approach taken by our inspection body the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
