Disco dancingDisco fever was in the air during September when Service Users enjoyed an Abba revival and 70’s disco night. The night proved to be very popular as everyone got dressed up for the occasion in classic 70’s gear and had a fun and groovy time.

19-08-2004 – New Acquisitions

Community Care Solutions are proud to announce the acquisition of two new residential homes within the Peterborough area. Building upon the continued success of our other residential homes, these two new properties will bring the total number of residential care homes operated by Community Care Solutions to eight. Each new home will provide spacious and modern accommodation for up to six Service User’s.

19-07-2004 – Robin Hood Production

Robin Hood productionA large audience was thoroughly entertained to a wonderful production by many of the service users who have worked tirelessly in their drama group over many months to produce a special adaptation of this legendry tale. A great night was had by all, with many thanks owed to Kevin Burke who produced and directed the play and sing–a–long.

19-06-2004 – One into Two

Aspen HouseAfter months of construction and development, Aspen House, previously an 8 bedroom house has now successfully been split into two distinct operating units of Aspen House and Aspen Lodge. The construction of the Lodge provides an additional sun room, a fully fitted kitchen, and dinning room. While the development of Aspen House has provided an additional two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, bringing the total number of residential care beds at the site to 10.

19-03-2004 – Day Care opportunities

SnoozelenDay Care Solutions, in partnership with the NHS trust has re-opened two Snoezelen facilities at Twinwoods in Bedford and Beech Close in Dunstable. Providing multi-sensory environments to both adults and children with learning disabilities across Bedfordshire.

18-03-2004 – Always room for Training

Community Care Solutions endeavours to provide our Service Users with the best possible quality care. This is centred around providing care from experienced, well-trained care workers. It is with this ethos to provide fully trained staff that Community Care Solutions has the pleasure to announce the set-up of its own fully equipped training room at its Head Quarters, in Bedford. This facility will be used to provide training, coaching and development courses throughout the year.
